2. Qualities of Engraving

- reproduction
- precise lines
- aesthetically (craftsmanship)
- precision
- contrast in the picture
- precise use of the ink
- control of deepness of the lines

Reveal questions the the steady stage of printing. Prints normally have a fixed stage which doesn't make an interaction/ deep experience possible. The Hypothesis is the limitation of prints in the way they revealing as well as which material they use to make the print. The tableware makes printing a new experience while its revealing pattern from the food itself. Through intervening in the traditional method of engraving, I researched new qualities engraving the paper instead of the metal plate. Reveal showcases the whaterabsorbance of paper in an interaction of the bleeding into really precise lines: This process is a new solution in which we perceive the process of printing and how we interact with paper and ink.
